am i dead yet?

I really feel like I should be. That whole -plosion thing didn't happen, although at this point I think it would have been nice!! As far as things go, I'm almost done. I have finished three of my five finals, almost four. I only have the French Translation portfolio (of which I only need to print, copy, and manually put together to turn in) and French Civ II. Unfortunately, the French Civ is the... how do I put this delicately... hard part. I'm almost finished with the d#*!ed paper, even if it is going to be a few pages short, but I still have to present it in class before the final (yeah, found that out late yesterday and the final's in two hours and forty-five minutes) and then take the darn final itself. I really can't wait to be done with this semester. Sorry for the whining. What can I say... :) I would say more fun and witty things, but I'm completely depleted until further notice. Gotta get back to it... Wish me luck!

the next two weeks are going to be h&*%

So, I think that I'm going to explode, or implode, or experience some kind of -plosion. I have five days of classes left and then finals. I am not having fun. This semester I've been in classes that have all gone toward my degree: Biblical Hebrew, Modern Hebrew, Phonology and Morphology, French Civ II, and French Translation... No fluff classes. And they're so hard!!! Sigh... So I have to put together my portfolio of French Translations, translate a few acts of Cyrano de Bergerac into English and then compare it to two other English translations, study all sorts of forms of ancient Hebrew verbs and vocabulary, study all sorts of modern Hebrew newspaper articles and vocabulary, read a couple chapters about Morphology, do some really wicked studying about French history from 1900 to 1950, and write a 7 to 10 page paper about Impressionism (which wouldn't be too bad, except that it has to be in French...). And of course, I have to go to classes still and do all the homework involved. I'm a little frazzled. So if I seem to disappear from the face of the earth for a while, you now know why...

A new beginning

I've been inspired by my dear friend Lizzy. I'm going to try this whole blogging thing. I don't know how well it will go. My life is not very eventful, but we'll see what happens. I'm not going to be very busy this summer, so maybe I'll be able to find some adventures. Here goes!
