Or maybe I will...
Look at me, writing less than a week later!! I'm so amazing. :)

I'm sitting here at my desk, listening to a playlist I have christened "Across the Beatles" (which consists of music from Across the Universe and The Beatles Red Album) and life is trying to love me. Not in a dirty way. Whether or not I let it is an entirely different matter. Sometimes I like to be coy.

Things have been so increasingly busy. I'm really and truly enjoying my classes. It seems to me that God always puts me in courses that compliment each other so well and open my eyes to the wonder and beauty of this world. For instance, I'm in Phonetics - a Linguistics class that teaches about the sounds of language - and History of the French Language on MWF (that would be Monday, Wednesday, Friday for non-college-goers). Now who would have thought, but almost every time I learn things in Phonetics that aid me in what I learn in l'Histoire de Francais. And each time it astounds me how much Heavenly Father thinks about me. I love Him.

I have been putting in some serious hours of late on my translation project. Thursday I think it was about four or five hours, Friday roughly the same, Saturday only a couple, and yesterday only a couple. I think I hit five today. It has been gruelling. But at the same time, so interesting. I described it to Shelle as being like a word puzzle, but in code. It's fascinating to decipher words and conjugations and idioms and feel like I'm getting it right (even if I'm not!). I just sit at my computer with two online dictionaries (one modern, one archaic), the original text in PDF, the word document where I'm doing the translating, and my Soothing Instrumental playlist blasting (if I'm at school, I use my iPod and it's not so blasting). I really do enjoy all the time I get to spend doing this. And I'm getting paid for it!

The weather is getting cooler, and I must admit that I like it that way. I enjoy the crisp, cool air of spring and fall. I like wearing long-sleeved shirts and sweaters and jackets and scarves (especially scarves). Besides when you're too cold you can always add layers, but when you're too hot there's only so much you can take off before it gets illegal. :) I particularly enjoyed all the rain during Conference weekend. I love rain. I miss rain.

The Yellow Submarine just finished playing. I'll admit it, I was bobbing my head. I don't see how a person would be able to keep themselves from doing so. The Beatles are just amazing.

Alas, I am winding down. My thoughts are starting to taper off and my bed is calling me. Six-thirty comes pretty early in the morning. So here's to you, world! Good night and goodbye.

P.S. Teri, you can be proud of me now!
